BuyTryShare SASU acts as the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR").

Personal Data Collected

In connection with the operation of the Site and its professional activities, BuyTryShare may collect the following categories of data:

  • first name and surname
  • professional email address
  • company name and role
  • professional phone number, where voluntarily provided
  • information contained in contact forms
  • technical connection data (IP address, browser, operating system, pages viewed, date and time of connection, technical logs)

The Site and the services offered are intended exclusively for professionals acting in the course of their business or professional activity. BuyTryShare applies the principle of data minimisation and only collects information strictly necessary for the purposes described below.

Purposes of Processing

  • manage relationships with prospects, clients, partners and suppliers
  • organise demonstrations, appointments or business discussions
  • send professional communications, newsletters, sector analyses or information about the services offered, where permitted by law

  • ensure the security of the Site and prevent fraudulent use
  • comply with applicable legal, regulatory and accounting obligations

BuyTryShare does not sell, rent or otherwise trade any personal data.

Processing is based, depending on the case, on:

  • the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures
  • BuyTryShare's legitimate interest in developing its business, ensuring the security of its Site and improving its services
  • compliance with applicable legal obligations

Recipients of the Data

Personal data may be accessible to:

  • authorised BuyTryShare staff
  • technical service providers involved in operating the Site, in particular:
    • Hostinger, as hosting provider
    • Cloudflare, as host of the technical function used to confirm newsletter subscriptions (validation of double opt-in links, in connection with Brevo)
    • Brevo, for managing electronic communications and the newsletter
    • Google, via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, for audience measurement, only after consent has been obtained where required
  • certain professional partners involved in a specific project, subject to appropriate confidentiality commitments

Recipients only use the data within the limits of the services entrusted to them. No personal data is transferred or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention Period

Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes pursued. As an indication:

  • contact requests: for the time needed to process the request
  • prospects: three (3) years from the last contact
  • clients and partners: for the duration of the contractual relationship plus applicable statutory limitation periods
  • technical data and security logs: up to twelve (12) months, unless otherwise required by law

At the end of these periods, data is deleted or archived in accordance with legal requirements.

Data Security

BuyTryShare implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data. These measures include in particular:

  • encrypted connections via HTTPS/TLS
  • access rights management
  • regular backups
  • protections against intrusions and cyberattacks

In the event of a data breach likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects concerned, BuyTryShare will apply the procedures provided for by the GDPR, in particular regarding notification.

International Transfers

BuyTryShare favours processing data within the European Union. Certain technical service providers, in particular Google and Brevo, may process some data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare Inc., a US company, is only involved within the limited scope of the technical newsletter-confirmation function described above. In these cases, BuyTryShare ensures that such processing is subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, in particular through the use of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission or any other mechanism recognised under applicable law.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure its proper functioning, ensure its security, measure its audience and improve the user experience. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site's operation cannot be disabled, in accordance with applicable regulations. Consent management is provided by Complianz, in accordance with the GDPR and CNIL recommendations. Subject to user consent where required, the Site uses in particular Google Tag Manager, for managing technical and analytics tags, and Google Analytics 4, used exclusively to measure audience and improve the Site. The Site does not use any advertising, behavioural targeting or profiling cookies. Users may accept, refuse or change their preferences at any time via the consent manager available on the Site. They may also configure their browser to limit or block certain cookies.
